Cleveland weather: Sun with high clouds on Saturday with PM storm chance

Cleveland weather forecast for Friday, August 15, 2025. We'll start to dance with storm chances this weekend and while most hours look dry, we'll have to keep an eye on storm activity to our north. Numerous waves of showers and storms are expected this weekend in the northern Great Lakes. These waves of storms will begin to sink south over the course of the weekend introducing the chance for a passing complex of storms later Saturday and then again at some point Sunday. Timing these clusters of storms is a challenge as they often rely on where the area of storms hours before decides to develop or fade. That being said, stay tuned to the forecast this weekend and have the WKYC App handy so you can keep an eye on the radar as your #3weather team will be. Humidity ramps up this weekend too with highs in the upper 80s Saturday and mid 80s on Sunday. The corridor of storms will continue to sit over northern Ohio Monday through Wednesday next week bringing several additional rounds of storms through here. With this pattern there will also be lots of dry hours in between the storms. We'll finally clear things out by mid-week with lower humidity and cooler temps for a few days. Attention will also be on the tropics next week as Hurricane Erin is likely to make a rather close run at the east coast. Although not expected to make landfall--the large swells off this system will create coastal flooding and erosion next week all up and down the eastern seaboard.
