The world famous British Firework Championships is set to return to Plymouth’s waterfront on 17th and 18th August 2022. Enjoy spectacular pyrotechnics that will illuminate Plymouth Sound as six top firework companies battle it out over two nights, each putting on an awe-inspiring ten-minute display in an attempt to be crowned the British Firework Champion 2022. The global live broadcast from Plymouth Hoe will once again be hosted by Justin Leigh and Andy Hubble a regular columnist in Fireworks Magazine and 3-time chairman of the British Pyrotechnic association (BPA). The teams taking part are: Wednesday 17th August Nemisis Pyrotechnics Europla Displays Phoenix Fireworks Thursday 18th August Fully Fused Fireworks Sonic Fireworks Wizard Fireworks The reserve team for this year is Illusion Fireworks. The first display on each evening will take place at 9.30pm BST and each display will last exactly 10 minutes with a ten-minute gap between shows.
