This wool is a blend of sheep wools from New Zealand with thickness approx. 27 microns. It comes in a brilliant range of colours and is very easy to use. A short staple length makes it a great, bulky carded wool well suited to 3D and 2D needle felting projects. Carded wool can be used as core wool and as finishing wool making it very versatile. Carded New Zealand wool from Thefeltbox is one of the best wools for needle felting out there. How to Use: Begin by roughly shaping wool as required. The more you compress your wool the less time it will take to needle felt. Place your wool onto the surface. Using the coarse needle (not included), repeatedly insert it into the wool, shaping as you go. Keep peeling your work off the foam as you go so it doesn’t get stuck. When it becomes difficult to insert the needle, swap for a finer one and continue until your work is a firm shape.
