The Friday Vibe: "School's for Fools" by Life Sex & Death (December 8, 2023)

We've often spoke of what a bizarre time in music history the '90s was, and that continues to be demonstrated by today's Friday Vibe. Life Sex & Death were a four-piece hard rock band from Chicago who made a name for themselves on the L.A. scene in 1991 and 1992. Featuring a frontman named Stanley, who was supposed to be an unkempt homeless man, the band got a record deal in 1992 and became international megastars. (Actually that only happened in my dreams, 'cause I love these sonsabitches.) Turn it up loud and rock to the sounds of what might have been, had we only had the capacity to appreciate these guys and the Seattle scene at the same time.
