Welcome back to average guy tested! In today's video I'm going to be saying goodbye to my George Michael tribute mustache using two different razors of the green variety. 1 — my all-time favorite consumer product OneBlade from Phillips Norelco, which a frequently use to dispatch long, thick stubble because of it's no nick, no cut, no irritation design. OneBlade works great wet or dry and also an effective product for trimming and styling a bearg, mustache or goatee! 2. I follow-up with the Barber Upp solid brass, green handle DE safety razor, for that baby's bottom smooth (BBS) finish to my shave. The Barber Upp razor, again is crafted of solid brass, which offers great heft and balance and is helpful in allowing the weight of the razor to do the work (or the heavy lifting). I went with two passes to clean up and also dropped my tips for preventing skin irritation and ingrown hairs. The shave soap and splash that I feature in this video are the Dead Sea from RazoRock, which lathers up quick and easy and is priced great! The soap is plenty slick and protective and the aftershave splash is soothing and smells divine! My favorite brush – the 1962 from the fine folks at FM Brush Company is also featured in this video. FM Brush is a family-owned, American company based in Glendale, NY. FM Brush pioneered the use of synthetic fill materials for beauty and artist brushes starting in the 1960's. Their synthetic badger brushes elevate the shave, providing real badger look, feel and performance, with the benefits of durability, cleanliness and sustainability!
