Mocha or banana blossom is something that occupied prime real estate in the Bengali vegetarian menu. This signature dish is delicately spiced, has a subtle sweetness and a hint of coconut that compliments the flavor of banana blossom. There are many variations of making mocha---in the veg one we add chola, daler bora and the non-veg one we add small fried prawn. It always tastes best with plain steamed rice.
