She explains how ego states normally develop and integrate, like a smooth gear shift. In structural dissociation theory, different innate motivational systems (attachment, play, defense) organize fault lines in identity. When there is trauma, the opposition between attachment and defense creates parts of the self with divergent goals and physiologies. These dissociative parts become rigid, isolated, and poorly connected, preserving the trauma while "protecting" the adult. The parts are not distinct personalities, but ways of being of the same person, insufficiently realized and integrated. Integrative care combines psychoeducation, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and harmonization of the parts. ►►► Chapters 00:00 Ego states 01:58 Limits of integration and threshold of dissociation 03:43 Innate motivational systems and fault lines in the sense of self 07:06 Emergence of parts 09:00 Rigid dissociative parts and protective function 10:28 Realization as key to integration 12:06 Identity flexibility, aging, and integration 13:40 Principles of treatment for DID and OSDD 15:25 Common misconceptions about parts ►►► About Kathy Steele's program ➪ Duration: 9 hours 41 minutes ➪ Trainer: Kathy Steele ➪ Format: 8 pre-recorded videos ➪ Availability: Lifetime ➪ Language: 2 versions: a French-dubbed version and an original English version (without subtitles) ➪ Price: €327 (VAT incl.) 👉👉👉 Register now: https://quantum-way.com/en/catalogue/... #Anxiety #Attachment #ComplexTrauma #DickSchwartz #Dissociation #Healing #IFS #KathySteele #MentalHealth #NervousSystem #PTSD #Parties #Psychology #Psychotherapist #Psychotherapy #QuantumWay #Resilience #Stress #TDI #Therapist #Therapy #Trauma #TraumaHealing #TraumaRecovery #WellBeing Copyright @ 2025 Quantum Way --- “Let's share our passion and work together towards a fairer, safer and more caring world.” 🌍 Find us on social media: Facebook   / quantumwayfrance   Instagram   / quantumway
