The Police Service Amendment Bill

The powers of the National Police Service Commission might soon be reduced if the National Police Service Amendment Bill 2013 sails through in parliament. This comes after the cabinet met on Friday and approved proposed amendments seeking to amend the act to clearly outline the roles of the Inspector General of Police and those of the National Police Service Commission led by Johnston Kavuludi.
