Maharashtra Political Crisis: The Maharashtra deputy speaker's office has issued a notice to Eknath Shinde asking him to present his case by 5.30 pm on Monday. The notice mentioned, "If you don’t respond, it will be assumed you have nothing to say and a consequent decision will be taken as per the procedure." Disqualification notices have been served to 16 rebellious MLAs of Shiv Sena for abstaining from a meeting called upon by Party Whip Sunil Prabhu. They have been asked to give a written reply with documents supporting their claim by Monday 5 pm.
