The Bible in many scriptures, commands us to be grateful. 1 Thessalonians 5:18: In all circumstances give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us. Psalms 107:1: Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good and his mercies endure forever. It’s because of his mercies that we are not consumed. Psalms 95:2: Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Philippians 4:6: Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and thanksgiving let your request be known to God. Psalms 103:1-5: Bless the Lord ooh my soul! When We Are Grateful 1. Multiplication Matt 14:19: Jesus gave thanks for the food and 5000 men ate to 12 baskets of leftover. 2. God is expecting us to give thanks Luke 17:11-17: Only one came back to say thank you. 3. God does more when we are grateful Luke 17:19: The one man who came back to say thank you. "He was well because of his gratefulness." Being Grateful to Others We should be grateful to people for the very little reasons: 1. Divine Connection 2. Support when we need You should not feel entitled. People who are not grateful, they don't receive more. Ways of Being Grateful 1. Praise & Worshipping Psalms 103:1: Praise the Lord ooh my soul.
