Honda Activa 125 Features: As part of its BS6 updates, the Honda Activa 125 gets an LED headlamp, LED pilot lamps on the front fascia, an external fuel filler cap, side-stand engine immobiliser and a pass light switch. The 125cc scooter also features a new semi-digital instrument console that shows the average and real-time fuel efficiency as well as distance-to-empty readout. Honda Activa 125 Engine: The Honda Activa 125 gets an all-new 125cc fuel-injected motor that delivers 8.29PS and 10.3Nm. That’s 0.27PS and 0.24Nm lower than the BS4 Activa 125 but Honda claims this new motor is 13 per cent more fuel-efficient than before. It also gets an ACG starter generator for silent starting operations and an engine start stop system. The CVT transmission has been carried over from the BS4 Activa 125. Honda Activa 125 Suspension & Brakes: The new Honda 125cc scooter features the same underpinning as the BS4 Activa 125. It gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock. Braking is via a 190mm front disc or a 130mm drum at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear with combined braking system. It gets 12-inch front and 10-inch rear steel wheels as standard while the top two variants get alloy wheels. Honda Activa 125 Rivals: The Activa 125 goes up against the Suzuki Access 125, Yamaha Fascino 125, and the upcoming TVS Jupiter 125 as well as other 125cc scooters like the Hero Destini 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125 BS6 and the Suzuki Burgman Street BS6. Price-wise, it competes with the Honda SP 125.
