Toyota Prius Prime with Yakima BaseLine JetStream Roof Rack Crossbars
This complete multi-purpose base roof rack is for 2017+ Toyota Prius Prime 5 door hatchback that has a "bare" or "normal" roof, and includes models equipped with a sunroof. Locks are sold separately in matched sets, see related products. The Yakima BaseClips are specifically engineered for a vehicle and has protective rubber pads which attach to the base of the BaseLine Towers and rest directly on the roof. Custom formed metal brackets with a powder-coat finish provides maximum strength and durability. The Yakima BaseLine Towers architecture uses a bi-axial DropHook clip motion to secure the clip to the roof and a BarBed design to adapt to the curved styling of modern vehicle roof lines. This means the pitch of the bar and the toe angle of the towers can all be adjusted to better match the contour a vehicle's roofline. Yakima JetStream load bars are strong, quiet and aerodynamic providing maximum capacity, no whistling or howling and low wind drag. The aluminum BoxBeam construction has a dedicated slot for tower attachment and a separate t-slot track for mounting certain carriers. The weight capacity of this base roof rack is 165 pounds evenly distributed. The load bar length is 50 inches. Distance from the front load bar to the rear is 32 inches, center to center.
