Final Fantasy IV Advance - Part 14: The Lunar Whale

The Sealed Cavern is nothing compared to the previous dungeons. A few more levels and Rosa would've prevented the deaths at the hands of the trap doors. The boss isn't particularly hard either. Even without Leviathan he's got less HP than Rubicante had, just that he has no weakness. The Wall can be slowed though, which will help especially if you don't have Leviathan. Kain does betray us, but when you think about it, how else would we have found out about Zemus and had access to the Lunar Whale? Before heading to the Moon, make sure you complete Yang's sidequest, or you won't be able to get the knife. I was rushed into getting the Excalibur, as I wasn't too concerned about the knife. It's a one throw item that will hit 9999 to most opponents, giving Edge.... a temporary edge? Once you've visited the Moon you can head straight back to the Kokkol smithy (provided he's in he process of smithing) and the Excalibur sword will be forged. I left myself primed to get Bahamut, but realised I should get Odin first, despite him not being that useful.
