QL release (low back pain). Quick coaching Q: anchor a Monster band against a low position, focus on isolate the leg back-and-forth within a 3 to 4 inch distance, secure the opposite leg so that it can be your leverage against the band. The Quadratus Lumborum muscle can contribute to pain in the low back hip, front of the thigh, low abdominals, pelvic and groin. A dysfunctional QL can lead to consistent pain in these areas. Pain in the low back, constant deep aching even at rest Pain in the hips and buttocks Groin pain Pelvic pain Pain down the front of the thigh Low abdominal pain Stabbing back and or abdominal pain when coughing or sneezing.
