Phaneroo Devotions for Friday 18th August, 2023 By Apostle Grace Lubega. Titled; Constantly Charged. James 5:16(AMPC); Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. Prayer avails power. This power is at your disposal to direct when the need arises. During my university days, I and some friends used to pray until the atmosphere around us was so charged that any one coming near us would fall under the power of God. I do have similar experiences to date. I may spend time in prayer that nobody can stand in my presence. Because I have built a consistent life of prayer, I cannot find myself in a place where I feel empty of power. A consistent life of prayer keeps me constantly charged. The result of this life is that I do not need to pray for hours before I can heal a lame man who is brought to me. I do not have to take off days of fasting before I can lay hands on a deaf boy brought to me so that he regains his hearing. When you have a disciplined life of communion with God, you will be constantly charged because power is always available to you. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Luke 5:17; 1 Thessalonians 5:17. GOLDEN NUGGET: When you have a disciplined life of communion with God, you will be constantly charged because power is always available to you. PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this word. The Bible says that God’s house must be a house of prayer. I am Your temple and as such, a person of prayer. I pray without ceasing and because I do, I live a life that demonstrates Your power, in Jesus’ name, Amen. More info please visit; https://phaneroo.org/daily-devotion/
