Curd Gravy | Moru Kulambu | Moru Curry

This video explains how to make Moru Curry / Butter Milk Curry/ Curd gravy .This curry goes well with Rice. Curd is probiotic which helps in healthy digestive system,it is also good for strong bones and teeth and it helps in immunity.It is good to have curd in your food daily. Moru kulambu/Moru curry is a famous South Indian cuisine made with sour curd.The recipe I have shared here is a plain moru curry you can also add vegetables like white pumpkin,okra, ash gourd,eggplant and winter melon. Ingredients Onion -1 Tomato-1/4 Curry leaves Mustard and urad dal-1 tbsp (for tempering) Oil Salt- as per taste Turmeric powder -1/2 tbsp Curd-1 cup Roast and grind Oil -1 tbsp Ginger-1 inch Garlic-6-7 cloves Green chilly-2 Soaked rice and toor dal -1 tbsp each ( soak for 1 hour) Preparation 1.Roast and grind the items given in roast and grind into a fine paste by adding water. 2.Add this fine paste to curd and mix it adding water, salt and turmeric powder.Make it as a curry. 3.Add oil to a pan and temper mustard seeds and urad dal. 4.Add finely chopped onion and curry leaves to it and fry till onion becomes glassy. 5.Now add tomato and fry till tomato mashes (you can also add vegetables like white pumpkin,okra, ash gourd,eggplant and winter melon now if required and cook till the vegetable gets cooked). 6.Add the mixed curd curry to the pan now and cook till it reaches boiling point. 7.switch off the stove when it starts boiling.serve the delicious moru curry with rice and enjoy .😋 Support us for more videos by Like , Share and Subscribe to my channel.
