Coronavirus pandemic: Mutated form of Delta variant spreading globally

A mutated new form of the #Delta #variant first found in #India is spreading in several countries across the globe and threatening to trigger new waves. It’s been dubbed Delta plus and is believed, according to its genetic sequence, to be more transmissible and more capable of attaching to pulmonary cells.
