A vacant doublewide mobile home has been destroyed in an early Sunday morning fire. Centralia Fire Protection District Chief Greg Earle says the home was fully engulfed and on the ground when they arrived on the scene on Post Oak Road south of Walnut Hill in northern Jefferson County. Earle says the home was in the process of being sold and the ownership was not immediately clear. He has asked the State Fire Marshall's office to review the fire scene on Monday to try and determine the cause of the fire and if there is any suspicious activity about the blaze. The fire call came in at two Sunday morning.
