Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2016 Infiniti QX60. Speaker 2: We're going to have two different styles of wiring that's going to be available for Infiniti. We're gonna have one that's gonna provide us with a 4-pole flat trailer connector and one that's gonna provide us with a 7-way RV connector. It's really gonna depend on what's on your trailer for which wiring you're gonna want to go with.If you just need your basic lighting functions, your taillights, your turn signals and your brakes, our 4-pull is gonna do a good job. Now, if you have a larger trailer, maybe you have brakes on it or brake controller inside your Infiniti, I would definitely go with our 7-way connection, because it is gonna provide you that 12-volt power as well as the ability to have a brake controller and send those signals back to the trailer.Other than that, both of our kits are going to be exactly the same. They're going to install the same using factory connectors inside the vehicle, and we'll have a few relays that we'll have to put in place to finish the connection from the factory wiring. On the outside of the vehicle, our connector will be plugged in to another factory plug, and with our 4-way connector, we are going to have to ground out to the chassis. The 7-way is going to connect the same way, with the same relays on the inside of the vehicle, however when we make our connection on the outside, our 7-way's gonna be getting a ground from another factory connector underneath the bumper. If you need both the 4-pull and 7-pull connector, you have several different trailers, or if you just like having the option of having both on your Infiniti, there is an option to where if we can get our 7-way kit, and it provides us with the wires, we do have adapters that'll give you a connector with both of them on there. Just keep in mind, again, you will need to get the 7-way kit in order for that to work.Whichever style you go with, both of our kits are gonna be using that factory wiring, so they're both gonna have a rating of 7.5 amps per circuit. Whether it's the 4 or the 7-pull, they're going to provide us plenty of power to get to the lights on our trailer. Again, whichever kit you decide to go with, I do recommend mounting up your wiring to a bracket to make sure that it's nice and secure and it isn't dragging down the road while we're driving. You can pick up brackets either for the 4 or 7-pull here at etrailer.com. That will finish up the look at the best wiring options for your Infiniti QX60.
