All New Nissan Townstar LCV Gets a Fully Electric Version

The all-new Nissan Townstar is the company's next-generation compact light commercial vehicle (LCV). This new LCV range, which includes a completely electric powertrain as well as a fuel-powered alternative, is designed to future-proof corporate operations and expedite the move to electrification. The all-new Townstar, Nissan's most technologically complete LCV offering to date, introduces a suite of 20+ technologies to the tiny van market, making it a strong challenger in the segment. The completely electric version of the all-new Townstar is optimized to satisfy customer demands, building on the success of the Nissan e-NV200, a pioneer and market leader in the electric LCV industry. The electric Townstar provides an efficient and sustainable transportation option with its upgraded 44kWh battery, superior technology, and low operating costs. The all-new Townstar is completely equipped to suit customers' ever-changing demands, with two efficient powertrain choices, ergonomic design, and innovative technology, according to Emmanuelle Serazin, LCV & Corporate Sales Director, Nissan Europe. “With stricter emissions regulations, urban access limitations, and rising demand for last-mile deliveries, businesses large and small must find effective and sustainable ways to stay competitive and optimize their operations,” Emmanuelle says. A refined petrol engine option will be available with a 1.3-liter unit that produces 130 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque and is fully compliant with the latest Euro 6d-Full emissions regulations, offering power and efficiency in equal measure. The completely electric all-new Townstar, on the other hand, will be equipped with a 44kWh battery and sophisticated technology, supported by Nissan's expertise in electric LCVs. In a single optimized package, it will integrate sophisticated energy management and efficient battery thermal cooling. The new van will replace the e-range, NV200's with 245Nm of torque and 285km of range (pending homologation). The all-new Townstar, which is based on the Alliance CMF-C platform, was designed from the bottom up with quality and utility in mind. It will be the first European model to feature the new Nissan brand emblem, and the latest to be released as part of Nissan's NEXT transformation strategy, which stresses long-term development and profitability throughout the company's global operations. The all-new Townstar van version has been designed to satisfy the demands of clients such as SMEs that want adaptability, convenience, space, and cargo, as well as a hands-free parking system for difficult city parking. With enormous smart storage possibilities of up to 775 liters, the all-new Townstar's combi version will assist families on the road. The all-new Townstar's inside welcomes customers with passenger-car-like comfort, from refined seat and door trims to a contemporary center console and instrument panel finish. Ariya's visual elements will be reflected in the completely electric all-new Townstar, which will include trademark standard LED headlights, an aerodynamic front shield with an exquisite Kumiko pattern, and a novel V-motion design with daytime running lamps. Similarly, the interlock grille on the fuel version of the all-new Townstar gives it a crisp and dynamic appearance. It will also include "air-curtains," which have been incorporated to improve airflow around the front bumper and wheels, lowering drag and improving autonomy and fuel economy. 💕 🚗Subscribe and Press the (🔔) to Get Notifications🚙 💕 🚙Auto Tip Off is your YouTube channel for getting news and facts about every new vehicle introduced throughout the world.
