US State department's Ned Price responds to Jaishankar's comments on F-16 package for Pakistan

Early this month, the Biden administration announced the approval of F-16 fighter jet fleet sustainment programme to Pakistan. United States claimed that the F-16 security assistance is intended to fight and combat terrorism. Referring to the argument, external affairs minister S. Jaishankar took a dig at the American policy and said “You’re not fooling anybody by saying these things,” in response to a question during an interaction with Indian-Americans. US' State Department Spokesperson Ned Price responded to Jaishankar's comments and said “We don’t view our relationship with Pakistan, and on the other hand, we don’t view our relationship with India as in relation to one another.
