New Recruit Baller Alert: NAHZIAH CARTER, "time to #ROCtheNation" #NahziahCarter #PRESSPLAY 6'6 G/F Nahziah Carter, Class of 2017 Bishop Kearney H.S, Rochester, NY Bishop Kearney Basketball has become an almost "IMG" like basketball program, we are witnessing a change in trend of basketball in the Greater Rochester area. The talent pool has increased rapidly and Bishop Kearney has officially become one of the most elite programs in the state of New York. Currently Bishop Kearney has two graduates within the past five years that will be playing in the NFL and NBA. Those names are Quentin Gause, Rutgers University and Thomas Bryant at Indiana University. We are talking about recent Alumni of Bishop Kearney who are currently being scouted by numerous professional sports teams. The dream is real at B.K. Quinton Rose, will be playing in the 2016 Jordan Brand Classic in NYC, not to mention his international status were he has recently been playing overseas with the USA select team. NAHZIAH CARTER will be the talk of the town going into the 2016-2017 basketball season, this kid is a phenomenal athlete in general. Carter is a long 6'6, his legs and arms appear to be elastic. The kid has to have at least a 40 inch vertical, I have witnessed his head above the rim several times. Coach Kevin Goode understands that his players are getting ready for the next level, so expect to Nahziah handling the ball a lot more this season. Everyone knew that Quinton Rose was a special player, the kid is 6'6 and can handle the rock like an NBA veteran. On the other hand Naziah is one of those players who could actually attempt a dunk from the free throw line, these are the things that can't be taught. Any D1 college coach in the nation will become interested in any player who is a 16 year old 6'5 Jr with this much raw talent. Nahziah is also working with some of the top trainer's in New York, he is currently playing with the City Rock Nike Elite AAU team. He also works individually with Coach Goode and his All star coaching staff. Bishop Kearney has definitely become one of the hottest basketball programs in Rochester,NY, every parent would love to have their kid enrolled at Bishop Kearney or Aquinas especially if their kid was a talented athlete. It really does appear as if the private schools are grabbing all the talent but this isn't true, Coach Mike G and Coach Goode are really good at what they do. Parents want their student athletes at a school where education is a priority and opportunities exists in athletics. Mr Carter has unlimited opportunities right now, especially with the recent success of his teammates like Rian Carter and Rose....These guys have had college scouts at all of their games for awhile now, College coaches have heard of Nahziah Carter but this will be his season to make them KNOW what he is about. The 2016-2017 basketball season will be crazy in Section V, we are witnessing the generation of big time H.S ball players.
