Despite not being particularly hard, this fight is so cool, easily my favorite of the dragons in the Dark Souls games. The arena, the music, and just the scale of the boss himself just ooze atmosphere in the same way Ancient Dragon does but backs it up with a decently fun fight. My only complaint here is with the durability degradation, not because I think it's a bad thing to have a fight where durability is actually a factor, but because it works in kind of a weird way that I'm not fully sure of. I wanted to do this with Lucerne, but for whatever reason halberds as a whole get especially screwed over in this fight, it would break in like 5 hits. That, and the fact that you don't get a cool sword for cutting his tail like you do for Kalameet in DS1. Come on guys, you got that right the first time.
