Elite Limbo

Elite Limbo

Scroll After Initial Description for the Fix I Figured Out End of last week I was exiting a planet via FSD, aligned with the escape vector and you can see the rest. The second half is what happened when I continued, stuck inside some kind of red bubble of limbo, landing gear down, thrusters won't activate via module menu and no way to get the hell out of there and back into play. This all occurred during a server malfunction with Frontier. I checked the downed website service when this happened and it showed numerous people experienced a disconnection, my internet was completely operational at the time. I have placed a ticket and hopefully they can fix it. I was just starting to get back into the game after a hiatus, and was looking to make some extra units for the upcoming Odyssey release. Looks like No Man's Sky is going to get a lot more attention from me, if only I could get in good with the Mercenaries Guild; then I could blast some pirates away on a regular basis... The fix is in. Notes before I start: The displays shows that the ship is on the ground, even thought visually I am not. I tested this via deploying my SRV and it dropped like a rock, falling to hell like in that scene from Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, only more infinite and the limbo glitch was still occuring. Even though I deployed the SRV, I don't believe it is necessary to fix this. Step 1: Exit the game Step 2: Load original Elite Dangerous (not Horizons) and Continue game Step 3: When the game gives you the option, click "recover to orbit". When I did this, my ship was back in normal space at the same system and I had full control of my thrusters and ship. Step 4: Exit game Step 5: Start Horizons and continue game. You will still be in normal space, and ready to rock Thank you to CMDR Exigeous whose video segment about recovering the SRV without having to go back to a space station, gave me the idea to try his solution for that particular scenario "13 Things You're Doing Wrong Elite Dangerous" Visit his channel:    / @exigeous
