Programmer Passport: Elixir Nerves, Video 1, SSH to a Nerves Target

Programmer Passport: Elixir Nerves, Video 1, SSH to a Nerves Target In this video, we connect to a Raspberry Pi Zero using the Circuits Quickstart firmware. We'll use existing firmware created by the Nerves team, and then we remotely shell into the computer using a USB cord and SSH. We bring up an Elixir shell on the target, all in under 15 minutes. Nerves is the platform you’ll use to build embedded systems with Elixir. We’re going to use Nerves to build a few tiny custom devices to do simple tasks like blinking LEDs and send the value from a sensor to a remote computer. In the spirit of this year’s theme of data, we’re going to focus our Nerves development on Nerves sensors. The goal is to provide an opportunity to tie together sensors with external systems. We are excited to start the Nerves hardware projects on Groxio! We want to connect with you!
