Dinosaurs were not the only amazing reptiles to inhabit the Mesozoic Era. In this lecture we first look at the pterosaurs, dinosaurs "funny looking cousins." What adaptations allowed them to fly? What was their physiology like? How did the evolve over the course of the Mesozoic? Then we begin our look at the marine reptiles of the Mesozoic. Why would amniotes (after they've evolved so many adaptations for life on land) return to the seas? How could they move, feed, breed? A beginning look at the Mesozoic marine reptiles.
