[Subs+Lyrics] Cyber Cage [Kagamine Rin]

A song about the regret and pain that you feel while trying to move on after losing someone... Translation by: Cysote The Japanese Lyrics, Romaji, and Translation w/Notes can be found here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?i... Original Nico Broadcast: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm21652719 Vocaloid: Kagamine Rin Music: GinGin (銀銀) mylist/28341776 @fuzzgngn Movie: Taisosu (たいそす)[mylist/36453012 @si_3 Notes: (1) 0:34 So...in the song itself, Rin sings this line as 満天の空 (Manten no Sora) meaning "The entirety of the sky", but in the video's lyrics it's written as 満天の星 (Manten no Hoshi) which means "All of the stars in the entire sky". I decided to translate it as 満天の空 (Manten no Sora) because it's more likely that a typo would be missed when proofing the song instead of the actual sung lyric. (2) 0:58, 1:57 Here's a helpful tidbit of information to anyone else who may be studying Japanese, "-eba (-えば)" is a provisional ending. This means that "-eba" basically puts a big "If" in front of whatever it is suffixing. Here it is used with ちゃう(Chau, to do completely), making it ちゃえば (Chaeba) which means "If (it is done/you would do) completely". (3) 2:10 This line translates more literally to "There is no way I would be able to understand that state of being". Nobody using English really says "State of Being" a lot though, so I translated it as "feelings", even though in the song 気 (ki) is used instead of 気持ち (kimochi). (4) 2:22 This line more literally translates to "I wonder if that road you followed knew how to reach a goodbye", but "reaching a goodbye" sounds a bit weird in English. "Closure" is the next best word that has the most similar meaning.
