Come spend the day with me in my modern homestead kitchen! The kitchen is definitely the heart of the home here on 6 Hearts at 6 Acres, we spend more time in our kitchen than anywhere else - it is where I work so hard to preserve all of the food from the garden to put up for us to eat all year long. Today I made a batch of homemade yogurt, canned some super delish, fresh spaghetti sauce, all ingredients came from the garden, canned a batch of jalapeno jelly, used our golden marconi peppers from the garden to make italian stuffed peppers for dinner, and smoked and dehydrated my paprika peppers. It was a very busy day and I am super proud of how much I accomplished!
