British MEP Graham Watson, vice-president of the European liberal-democrat party ELDR, talks to EUX.TV's Raymond Frenken at the December 2010 EU Summit. Watson said he supports the idea of creating Eurobonds as a way for Europe to finance investments in public infrastructures of a pan-European nature. Watson disagrees with the view held by German Chancellor Angela Merkel that Eurobonds can potentially import economic weakness to strong eurozone countries like Germany. "Angela Merkel is in danger of being seen as disloyal by some of the other heads of state and government," Watson said.
