Glasgow Winter 2023 - 2x2 round 1 Cube: valk 2m with mgc springs Words can't describe how thrilled I am to be finally able to join my first Rubik's cube competition. I have been waiting for this day for 6-7 years. As a cuber from Hong Kong, there isn't many competition and it's very difficult to join one. I had the chance to visit the UK for a semester exchange. And I am extremely happy to make my debut in Glasgow, a great city. The competition was full of talented cubers and everyone was really nice. I can't ask for more when I got a 2.39 average as my debut. I was expecting a 2.5-2.6 average but I performed really great. I'm surprised that I didn't feel much pressure, and it's likely because of the supportive environment in the competition. 4th in the world. Let that sink in.
