Good News! USCIS Eases Restrictions for Fully Vaccinated Individuals. If you are fully vaccinated individual, who do not have COVID-19 symptoms. You will be permitted to attend interviews and biometrics, even if you have returned from domestic air travel, international air travel or cruise ship travel in the past 10 days. Healthcare workers with N95 Respirators and PPE equipment's in COVID-19 environment, and Individuals who have been in close contact with anyone, known to have COVID-19 in the previous 14 days may also enter U.S.C.I.S facilities, if they are fully vaccinated and doesn't exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms. This announcement will pave way to open up interview slots in U.S.C.I.S facilities to reduce backlog. Another Good news is President Biden’s nominee to head U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Ur Jaddou, She has promised to improve financial situation of the U.S.C.I.S and reduce visa backlogs with 21st-century tools. USCIS also updated the policy manual with bunch of new policy in the past week. updates includes policy guidance on naturalization, Preserving Continuous Residence and Physical Presence for Purposes of citizenship while Engaged Outside the United States. USCIS also updated bunch of its forms like I-539, G-325A, G-1450 & G-1055 in the past week.
