This project is all about making attendance smart, fast, and automatic using the power of biometrics and IoT. We built a Fingerprint-Based Attendance and Access System using the AS608 fingerprint sensor and ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. . When a registered user scans their finger, the system confirms the match, shows ‘Access Granted’, and instantly logs attendance into Google Sheets with the person’s name, ID, IN/OUT status, and exact date & time. If the same user scans again, the system automatically toggles the status from IN to OUT and updates the sheet again.
