Immunity to SARSCov2 via mRNA vaccine

So this is Part 2 of my talk on acquiring immunity to SARSCov2. In this video, I discuss how we achieve immunity to SARSCov2 in the case of the mRNA vaccine offered by Moderna and Pfizer. Compare what happens in the cell here to what happens in a viral-infected cell during natural infection, as seen in the previous video. *Note* The end date of the Moderna trial is October 2022. We don’t yet know how this vaccine will affect us long term as the mRNA delivery mechanism is brand new technology and has never been implemented in a vaccine.
