India has achieved a historic victory in the continental Equestrian event, ending a 41-year-long drought by securing a team gold. The winning team included Divyakriti Singh on Adrenalin Firfod, Hriday Vipul Chhed riding Chemxpro Emerald, and Anush Agarwalla astride Etro, accumulating a total of 209.205 percentage points. While Sudipti Hajela was part of the team, only the top three scores were considered for the win. China secured the second position with 204.882 percentage points, and Hong Kong secured bronze with 204.852 points. This remarkable accomplishment marks India's first-ever team gold in the dressage event. The last dressage medal, a bronze, was awarded in 1986, and India's last gold in equestrian dates back to the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi.
