Webinar 5 An Introduction to BPD Part 1

This webinar is designed to provide helpful information in relation to personality disorders, with greater specification of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). We will talk about the role of childhood/adolescence experiences, including trauma and attachment difficulties, that have been found to strongly impact on the development of maladaptive responses resulting from cognitive, emotional and interpersonal difficulties. In the second part of this webinar we will discuss evidence-based assessment and interventions/ procedures currently used in clinical practice to support in managing the aforementioned difficulties and risk, and preventing long-term implications. We will also look at additional resources, helpful books and information on relevant support groups as well as guidance on where to seek additional support. These webinars are suitable for supporting individuals who have Borderline Personality Disorder.
