And lots of bits of information flying around on this new grading system and teacher predictions. Lots of which is quite unclear and hard to understand if you aren't an educator. Ofqual (the exam regulators) have released what the new system will look like for getting your GCSE grades and A level grades this year 2020 due to coronavirus (COVID-19). And depending on how its been explained to you it has the potential to be pretty confusing. So in this video I've broken it down to its bare bones what the new GCSE / A level grading system entails and explained it as simply as possible. What will your teachers be doing? Your schools be doing? The exam boards be doing? The government be doing? etc I've put this explanation together with the much appreciated help of my teaching colleagues / friends, what the government have released and put a few of my own views from my teaching experience as well. In this vid I outline a summary of the new process, thoughts on the appeal process and a bit of advice on what you should do now. Hope its helpful guys. And hang in there :) +++++ABOUT BEYOND THE BLACKBOARD+++++ Hi I’m Ran and I run this YouTube channel called Beyond the Blackboard on how to “live your best life” at GCSE / A level time and beyond.
