YESS Peer Mentoring 2013
YESS students give testimonials on the value of YESS Mentoring at North and West High Schools at Denver Public Schools. YESS Mentoring builds inclusive peer communities as an integrated class within high schools in which jr/sr students support freshmen/sophomores. The curriculum includes emotional intelligence skills and academic skill building; tutoring and credit recovery; community service; civic leadership.
