Palak Paneer Recipe - Ingredients - 500 grams Palak (leaves and soft stem cleaned. Boil, cool and grind with 6 green chillies) 2 tblsps oil 1 tsp cumin seeds (Jeera) 1 tblsp garlic chopped 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tsp ginger paste 3/4 cup grated onion 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes 2 tblsps curd (Dahi) 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 1 1/2 salt (or as per your taste) 1/4 tsp black salt 1 tblsp butter 250 - 300 grams cottage cheese (paneer) 1 tblsp cream or malai (optional) Method - 1) Heat oil in a pan and add Jeera. As the Jeera turns dark, add chopped garlic and saute lightly. Add grated onion and saute lightly. Then add ginger garlic paste and sauté till onion turns brown. 2) Add finely chopped tomatoes and sauté till the oil separates. Add salt, black salt and mix. Add Palak purée and mix well. Add Dahi and mix. Then cook for 2 minutes on medium flame. 3) Add paneer pieces and mix. Cook for 2 minutes on low flame. Then add garam masala powder and butter and mix.
