Sniper Elite 5 Authentic Gold Medal Long Shot Co-Op hack Level 5: Festung Guernsey

This video is for anyone (like me) struggling to achieve the gold medal authentic long shot on Sniper Elite 5 Mission 5: Festung Guernsey. By now some players attempting the gold medal long shot will have seen other videos of people making this shot and for some reason or another you haven't been able to make it yourself and let's face it on Authentic mode with no aim assist, bullet drop and wind resistance it is a challenge, to top it off you need to hit a guy through a window 700m away in the rain with only a small 10x zoom scope. So after attempting a long shot on another level solo no less then a dozen times I came up with the idea of knocking out a soldier and dragging the body to a visible location and taking the shot of the stationary target. The only problem was by the time I got back to the snipeing location the body had disappeared. So I enlisted the help of my brother Pete A.K.A B_Smyde94 on PSN. First we attempted this on civillan difficulty here on level 5 Festung Guernsey to see if it was possible and once we managed it there we restarted on Authentic difficulty. Once we were in our respective positions, one of us sniping and the other holding up the unconscious enemy we were able to use the co op partner tag as well as giving each other feedback of our missed shots eg a little higher and to the right, to finally achieve the Gold Authentic Long Shot medals. In this video I have added a screenshot of the map (you may need to pause) to see where I am standing, first from the snipers position and second from the bullet catches position, yes the person holding the body will also get hit so make sure you have medikits and bandages. I found it easier with Match rounds and the M.1903 with 10x zoom when sniping. Look for the player Icon not the cross hair marker on the map. Right near the Countryside House starting location is a storage building with 3 guards, one out the front, one inside and one on the roof, even on authentic it's easy enough to knockout one of them and carry the body back to the starting location, the second player then needs to find their way to the building at the shooting range (i'd advise not to go through the tank yard on authentic), clear it out and make your way to the top and look for your co op partners name icon and blue arrow. So far this has worked for us on Level 1 The Atlantic Wall, Level 4 War Factory, Level 5 Festung Guernsey and the DLC Level Wolf Mountain. We also got a 500+m silver medal on Level 3 Spy Academy this same way. I know this technique won't be for everyone and may spoil it for the hardcore players but if you're a casual player with a bit of OCD like me who just wants the gold medal the easiest way found so far then I hope you will enjoy this video. Please note I am not a game streamer, I don't have all the fancy equipment I just used game capture and the PS app to transfer, edit and upload from my phone as I wanted to help others, I've got another video of our same technique for level 5 and after these two videos are uploaded I doubt i'll ever upload another gaming video unless we come up with another brilliant idea to help others that hasn't been thought up yet.
