At 8:52 a.m. On Tuesday, Moscow time (5:52 a.m. GMT), the Soyuz rocket took off from Kazakhstan's Russia-leased Baikonur launch site. Iran has said that the high-resolution camera-equipped satellite will be used to keep an eye on the environment and will stay in complete control.
