Trinitarianism 9:2: Modern Modalism / Oneness Pentecostalism, part 3

Oneness Pentecostalism or modern modalism is refuted through the many texts that identify Jesus Christ as the Son of God and distinguish Him from the Father and the Holy Spirit. The Son of God is shown to be eternal, rather than coming into existence at the incarnation. The Lord Jesus is very frequently called the Son of God, but He is never identified as God the Father or as God the Holy Spirit. "Jesus only" proof-texts such as Luke 1:35, arguments based on the word "begotten," etc. are shown to be wanting.
