Laylat al-Qadr is a night better than a thousand months. But have you ever wondered what this night is like on the other side of life? In the new episode of the "Beyond" series, we reflect on what happens on this blessed night not only on earth but also in the world of Barzakh. Allah says in the Quran: "It is peace and tranquility until the dawn comes." (97:5) On this night, the heavens are filled with angels. Their numbers become so great that, according to scholars, the heavens literally overflow. The angels descend to earth, visiting homes, mosques, and places of worship. They record the deeds of the believers and raise them to Allah. But what happens to those who have already departed this world? Scholars have said that the souls of believers in Barzakh are aware of events occurring in the world of the living. They are shown the deeds of their loved ones. They learn about new souls coming to their world. And many of them have been observing Laylat al-Qadr for thousands of years. Imam Ibn al-Jawzi said: "If the inhabitants of the graves were asked to make any wish, they would wish to live another day of Ramadan." Imagine... If they were given the opportunity to return for even one night, they would choose Laylat al-Qadr. Why? Because this is the night when: • the gates of Paradise open • the gates of Hell close • angels fill the heavens • supplications are accepted • destinies change. The Prophet ﷺ taught us to recite a special supplication on this night: "Allahumma innaka 'Afuwwun tuhibbu al-'afua fa'fu 'anna" "O Allah, You are the Forgiving and love to forgive, so forgive us." And when you say "us," don't forget to include: — your parents — your loved ones — all believers who have already departed this world. Because your supplications can become a light for them in the grave. 📌 Watch the episode to the end. 📌 Share this reminder. 📌 And write in the comments: what du'aa do you recite most often on Laylat al-Qadr?
