Reminder Of Brutal Sailing Conditions | Sailing Galopin Cape Verde | Winded Voyage S4 | Episode 107

The Sao Vicente Canal, most of the time it's a rough patch of ocean to navigate. Which is the case in this episode. It was at times harrowing, with winds sustained at 33kts. It was an uphill battle against wind, current and waves. I took on water and my friend Peter tore his sail and lost his anchor. We were two boats to take on the Sao Vicente canal on our way to the island of Sao Nicolau. Peter with his crew, Lily, Aleck and Jen and me solo sailing. I thought I was accustomed to the conditions here, but once again not this time. I dont think I will ever be accustomed to extreme Cape Verde sailing. This is also no bullsh*t sailing!
