Electric Daisy Violin LIVE! - Lindsey Stirling in Lawrence, KS

I filmed Lindsey at the Granada in Lawrence, KS on March 25, 2013. She was on her game and gave a stellar performance that night. The place was absolutely packed! Lindsey is such an inspiring and motivating person, her amazing work-ethic is contagious! I shot this on my Canon T4i, I was using the Canon 18-135mm STM lens (Big mistake, If you notice the floaty and inaccurate focus, the focus on this lens has no hard stops and is impossible to focus rapidly or accurately, I should have brought my trusty Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 it is my favorite lens). lesson learned. I did quite a bit of tweaking and tuning with the audio and found a few nasty resonant frequencies no doubt due to the bad acoustics of the hall, so I fixed that to the best of my abilities. I recorded this without gain compression, I wanted to bring out the punch and liveliness in the sound. I was using the built-in mic on my T4i, Hope you like it!
