The Chernobyl station has neither material value nor serious strategic significance. It is difficult to even imagine for what purpose Russia needs it. In fact, it is a huge sarcophagus over the destroyed reactor, being surrounded by forests and swamps. The only meaning of such an operation - an attempt to repeat the tragedy of 1986. But in this case, not only Ukraine will suffer. In 1986, both Europe and Russia suffered, and Belarus as well. But today this Russian complicit provided its territory for occupier tanks. Let's remind after Chernobyl disaster almost the entire world was engaged in remediation of consequences. Who will do it now? Maybe Putin personally?
