With its optional World-Eater add-on, this mod also adds a Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom-style open mission to defeat Alduin, with the potential for taking back each ruined city from his Dragon followers and their swarms of Draugr minions first. This mod is compatible with both Skyrim Special Edition and the Anniversary Edition update. Alternate Skyrim is one of the mods like Legacy of the Dragonborn that just makes you want to start a new playthrough specifically designed around the mod. There's so much potential here for new modlists structured designed around Alternate Skyrim to further enhance the survival and scavenging aspects of this alternate world.
