Russia's troops took Mariupol on Friday, their largest Ukraine war win yet. According to Russia's military ministry, the remaining Ukrainian forces in Azovstal have surrendered following a three-month siege that killed hundreds and left the port city in ruins. The ministry claimed 2,439 Ukrainian fighters have surrendered and that underground buildings in Azovstal are now under Russian control. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu claimed "full liberation" of the facility to President Vladimir Putin. Friday, Ukraine didn't confirm.
