We move along with the Sheer Heart Attack Tour! This is a recently surfaced (emerged in 2015) recording of the band's concert at the Sheffield City Hall. The quality is great, and a big step up from prior shows. The tempo was originally 3% too fast but I fixed it. It's also almost complete (The end of "Son And Daughter" is missing). Overall, it's a great show, despite some technical issues in spots, and Freddie's voice is in very good shape, though some songs feature him doing some weird/bad conservative phrasing in spots. He sings well as a whole, however. Going through the songs... "Now I’m Here" has some bad conservative phrasing in a few spots, but mostly sounds good, "Ogre Battle" is great with Freddie hitting all the key A4s, though he sounds strained in spots, "Father To Son" is very good, despite a minor lyric botch, "White Queen" sounds great as Freddie uses very nice dynamics and a nice soft tone, "Flick Of The Wrist" sounds very good as Freddie hits both A4s on “Taking an ARM” though the first one is kinda rough, and he does weird conservative phrasing on the second “He’ll eat your heart out”, "In The Lap Of The Gods" has Freddie cutting off a note in the first verse but it otherwise sounds good (however Roger’s screams are very off-key), "Killer Queen" doesn't sound too hot as Freddie does weird conservative phrasing throughout and cracks the "Recommended" A4, "The March Of The Black Queen" is excellent with Freddie nailing the key A4s, and "Bring Back That Leroy Brown" is solid despite some feedback near the end. "Son And Daughter" sounds good with a great solo, "Keep Yourself Alive" has some intonation issues but sounds good overall, "Seven Seas Of Rhye" is very good, with Freddie hitting the A4s, but has a pretty painful crack on the falsetto F#5, "Stone Cold Crazy" sounds great with a lot of energy, "Liar" has a crack in the second verse but is pretty good overall, plus the musicianship is tops, "In The Lap Of The Gods… Revisited" has Freddie nail the falsettos in the first verse and sing the rest well, though he does some weird conservative phrasing in spots, "Big Spender" sounds great with a aggressive delivery, "Modern Times Rock And Roll" is flying fast and sounds strong, and "Jailhouse Rock" is an energetic end to the show. ENJOY!
