"At the age of 27, the patient first experienced health issues starting with malaria, followed by typhoid. Within a year patient was diagnosed with breast cancer in her right breast. At that time there was very little awareness, and her treatment started at Tata Memorial. A lump was found and removed through surgery, and for the next 14 years the patient remained fine and lived a normal life, at the age of 39 cancer returned in the other breast. The patient underwent mammography after which swelling occurred in the breast, even though it was originally a simple lump. Patient believes the mammography worsened the situation.
