Share this video with a friend who appreciates a great sandwich:    • Fresh Tuna BLT Sandwich - Gourmet Recipe   🔴 If you're cooking for 3 or 4 people, download the recipe card: https://bit.ly/2AT96aF ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ingredients for a serving size of 2: ✅ Tuna Tuna steaks | 400.00 Grams Salt | 0.75 Tsp Black pepper | 0.25 Tsp Olive oil | 2.00 Tbsp ✅ Fries Potatoes | 500.00 Grams Vegetable oil | 2.00 Tbsp Salt | 0.75 Tsp Grated cheddar cheese, white | 40.00 Grams ✅ Sandwich fillings Shallots | 1.00 Pieces Lemon | 1.00 Pieces Olive oil | 1.00 Tbsp Salt | 0.25 Tsp Black pepper | 0.10 Tsp Mayonnaise | 60.00 Grams Dijon mustard | 6.00 Grams Boston lettuce | 1.00 Pieces Tomatoes | 2.00 Pieces Smoked turkey bacon | 100.00 Grams Vegetable oil | 1.00 Tbsp ✅ To serve Sourdough bread small loaf | 8.00 Pieces Step by step instructions: 1️⃣ Roast potatoes Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan. Slice the potatoes (skins on) into fries. Add to a large baking tray with a drizzle of vegetable oil and a generous pinch of salt. Toss the wedges in the oil until coated. Place the tray in the oven and roast for 30 min or until golden and crisp. 2️⃣ Prep fillings Meanwhile, slice shallots into thin rings. Juice lemons. Combine the shallots and the lemon juice. Season with olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. In another a bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and a pinch of salt. Separate lettuce leaves. Thinly slice tomatoes. 3️⃣ Fry bacon Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Fry the turkey bacon slices on each side until nicely browned and crispy. Set aside on a plate. Reserve the pan. 4️⃣ Fry tuna Add oil to the pan, if needed. Once the pan is hot again, add the tuna steaks. Fry the tuna steaks for 1-2 min on each side to medium-rare, or until cooked to your liking. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside onto a chopping board to rest. 5️⃣ Add cheese Once the potatoes are done, take the tray from the oven and sprinkle with the grated cheddar. Pop back into the oven for about 3 min or until the cheese has melted. 6️⃣ Assemble and serve Toast the bread slices. Cut the rested tuna into slices. Spread the bread slices with the Dijon mayonnaise. Top half of the breads with lettuce, tomatoes, tuna, bacon, and drained shallots. Pair the breads.
